Hunting with hounds was supposed to have been banned in England & Wales in February 2005. However, now the fuss and media attention has died down, most hunts are illegally carrying on as they did before. Hunt saboteurs, after holding back to see if the law would work will now seek to take action where it counts - in the killing fields. They are experienced in using non-violent direct action tactics to save the lives of thousands of hunted animals every season. From using hunting horns and voice calls to run off with the hounds at foxhunts, to standing in front of the shooting butts on the grouse moors, to wading through the rivers at mink hunts, wherever animals are being hunted for fun, hunt saboteurs will be there, protecting our wildlife from the "sportsmen" who get their kicks from killing.

Freshfields Animal Rescue is a community focused, non-profit organisation for re-homing abandoned, abused and unwanted domestic and small farm animals along with sick and injured wildlife. We act to support community, local wildlife and the environment through our urban conservation initiatives by providing temporary refuge and sanctuary for an endless cycle of animals in need of help with each animal receiving the food, medication, socialisation and emotional healing required before re-homing or release. We passionately believe that the well-being and future success of every species of animal and bird is a shared responsibility. Our aim is not just to inspire high standards of welfare and respect for all animals but to empower each individual to work towards achieving this goal.

When you visit Farm Sanctuary, you’ll see frolicking calves who once knew only pain and suffering in veal crates. You’ll see pigs slumbering in soft straw rather than filthy, crowded stockyard pens. You’ll see animals experiencing joy and freedom for the first time in their lives.

We rescue, rehabilitate, and provide lifelong care for hundreds of animals who have been saved from stockyards, factory farms, and slaughterhouses. At our three shelters, rescued residents are given the care and love they need to recover from abuse and neglect. All of the animals enjoy nourishing food, clean barns, and green pastures each and every day.

For the last 12 years SCFR have been working closely with RSPCA SG Wildlife Centre to help re-home abandoned, neglected and abused ferrets that come into their care.
We have to adhere to a number of strict guidelines to enable us to board and re-home RSPCA ferrets, along with any ferrets handed in by members of the public. We have many ferrets in our care and sometimes they will not find homes for weeks and even months. The work we do here is ongoing and we are passionate about giving these ferrets the very best out of life.

PAWS is a registered non-profit organisation which is dedicated to the protection and the promotion of humane treatment of all animals. It runs an animal shelter called PAWS Animal Rehabilitation Centre located at Aurora Blvd. Katipunan Valley, Loyola Heights, Quezon City that currently houses 49 dogs and 227 cats rescued from cruelty or neglect.  The volunteer-based organisation rehabilitates these animals in the hope of finding them new homes and a second chance at a good life. The PAWS shelter also serves as an animal-welfare information centre and a low-cost spay-neuter clinic.
